SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

  • Thursday 24 September - First day from which initial weigh ins can take place.
  • Thursday 24 September 7:30pm @ Drive Fitness Tarragindi (5/19 Kuring Gai Ave, Tarragindi) - Nutrition seminar & introduction evening.
  • Thursday 12 November - Last day that final weigh ins can take place.
  • Friday 13 November 7pm @ Greenslopes Bowls Club (131 Ridge St, Greenslopes) - Christmas Party & 50 Day Weight Loss Challenge presentation evening. 
  • Personal training session each week to include goal setting, weekly weigh in & food dairy review.

  • Food diary to be completed every day & submitted to your personal trainer weekly for review in your personal training session.

WHEN DOES IT START & FINISH?

The 50 Day Weight Loss Challenge starts on Thursday 24 September and finishes on Thursday 12 November. We will announce the winner on Friday 13 November at our Drive Fitness Christmas Party. Registration is OPEN NOW and closes on Friday 18 September. 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The Drive Fitness 50 Day Weight Loss Challenge is FREE for Drive Fitness personal training clients. As long as you're doing a minimum of 1 personal training session per week you can enter the 50 Day Weight Loss Challenge. 

WHAT ARE MY TRAINING OPTIONS & PRICES?

Your training options during the 50 Day Weight Loss Challenge include:

  1. 1 personal training session per week -  $40 per week. 
  2. 1 personal training session per week & unlimited group boot camp sessions - $69 per week ($40 per session for personal training &$29 per week to add unlimited boot camp sessions).
  3. 2 personal training sessions per week & unlimited group boot camp training.- $99 per week ($40 per session for personal training & $19 per week to add unlimited boot camp sessions).
  4. 3 personal training sessions per week & unlimited group boot camp training - $120 per week ($40 per session for personal training & $0 to add unlimited boot camp sessions).

WHAT ELSE IS INCLUDED?

  1. Goal Setting & Monitoring - Weekly goal setting & weigh in and circumference measurements in the first & last week.
  2. Food Plan & Food Diary - 50 Day Weight Loss Challenge food plan to help guide your eating & food diary to fill out every day of the challenge to be reviewed weekly at your personal training session. 
  3. Nutrition Seminar - Nutrition seminar on Day 1 focusing on healthy eating for weight loss with an opportunity to ask questions.
  4. Body Weight Training Program - Body weight workout program to follow during the 50 Day Weight Loss Challenge on top of your personal training & boot camp sessions.

HOW IS A WINNER DETERMINED?

Results are determined by calculating the total percentage of body weight lost across the 50 day period. The person with the greatest percentage of their body weight lost between first and final weigh in wins. The main goal of the weight loss challenge is to motivate you - finding a winner is not our main focus. In saying that, we understand that having a great prize for winning does motivate and we like to acknowledged great results. 

WHAT IS THE PRIZE FOR THE WINNER?

The winner will receive 1 year of personal training valued at over $2000. 1 personal training session FREE every week for 52 weeks!

CAN I REALLY LOSE WEIGHT IN 50 DAYS?

We have consistently seen weight loss of 0.5-2kg per week with a high success rate of people keeping the weight off following the end of the challenge. Weight loss does vary greatly for a variety of reasons.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS A WEEK?

We would like a commitment from all participants that an effort will be made to attend all training sessions. It's expected that things will come up at short notice that may interfere with your training during the 50 Day Weight Loss Challenge -  we will do our best to work with you so you can still get the most out of it. A weigh in must be recorded in the first and last week for your score to be official.
